This is what a lack of football will do to a football fan. I'm now regulated to watching things like the NCAA Indoor Track and Field championships. None of this seems fair!!!

Speaking of football, it's free agency time. Of course the whole thing started about a week late with all of the collective bargaining mumbo jumbo. Since it's something that I don't even really care about, I guess it's not worth talking about. The only thing that really matters is that the Panthers kept Deshaun Foster (but let Will Witherspoon and Marlon McCree go). There was also Edgerrin James going to Arizona (maybe he knows something we don't) and the Redskins throwing a lot of money at players who are not actual gamebreakers. (Or never even were---why do you need 3 receivers who aren't 6 feet tall? You have to have some kind of player who can actually be physical at the line. I mean, that has to make sense for somebody.)

I've been here at USC for four years now, and yet I can't seem to grasp the thought of doing well in all of my classes. I talked before about how is was just too much for me to care about my non-journalism courses. Well I took that thought to a totally new level in my Event Management and Comparative Politics classes. That's right, I made a 58 in one class and a 48 in the other one. I'm pretty sure that's not so good on any scale. Sometimes I feel helpless, because I know that it's insane to think that I can just turn it on when it matters. OK, maybe I will do that anyway, since I don't really want to fail right about now. Oh well, just don't tell my mom about any of this.

I finally did my taxes. I guess it's weird to know that I actually made money, since it's not like I have any kind of savings whatsoever. But I did get a TV last year----when my mom bought it. Oh well, there was a lot of wining and dining for me and Sarah's benefit. There are also times when I wish I didn't really have to work so much. Or maybe if my work consisted of---being the GM of the Carolina Panthers. I don't know why I'm complaining really---I love to have my own money and buy things when I wanna.

Of course since March Madness is coming around, Sarah and I decided to do a bracket. We even have a healthy bet going on. I have to buy her earrings if she wins, and she buys me a PS2 game if I win. I'm pretty sure we're both going to fail miserably, (as far as getting a number of picks right) but I think I have the edge just because she picked Winthrop to go to the Sweet 16. While it would be pretty nice to see this happen, (especially if they beat Tennessee in the first round) I just think it's extremely far-fetched. But whatever, she'll probably turn out being exactly right. I'm also doing a bracket with some of my classmates, so that should be interesting as well. Since I'm a lover of all sports, I'm not absolutely insanely excited about the tournament (It's still not the NBA, folks)---but it is a chance to see some "magical things" happen.

I finally get to make my long-awaited return to...SHARE meetings tonight!! I hope thaty haven't kicked me out.

Spring practices have started, so it's apparently popular to go watch everybody run drills.
Even though I said that, I'm pretty sure I would have gone if I didn't go to the gym.

Dude, you so were not at liberty to discuss my bracket picks!
I was going to negotiate my own bracketology show on ESPN for top dollar! But now you totally blew my edge!

As far as hanging out is concerned....what are you doing Friday?
There's a hot party that I'll be at. I think you should make an effort to be there tooooooo.
